Our Experiences

The jungle is the amenity.
We take care of everything else.

From sunrise hikes to sunset paddles, every excursion is guided by people who know this corner of the Osa by heart. We handle the planning, the logistics, and the timing — so all you have to do is show up and be present.

Luxury that comes to you.

The finest experiences don't always require leaving. Our in-casa services bring everything to your doorstep — or your terrace, your pool deck, your dining room — so that the comfort of your casa and the richness of the experience are never in conflict.

In-Casa Dining

Your table. Your menu. Your chef.

There are meals you eat, and there are meals you remember. A private Arborea chef experience belongs firmly in the second category. This is cooking with intention, in a setting that no restaurant can replicate.

Available at all casas. Bookable per evening or as part of a curated package.

Every treatment is thoughtfully curated and personally delivered — from deep tissue work for bodies that have been hiking jungle trails, to romantic couples rituals designed for complete surrender. This is not a wellness menu you scroll through online.

This is not a nature walk. This is your backyard

The Península de Osa contains 2.5% of the world's total biodiversity within less than 0.001% of its land surface. What that means in practice: scarlet macaws overhead, tapirs on the trail, howler monkeys announcing the morning, and a jungle so dense and alive that every walk feels like the first time anyone has ever walked it.

Where the Jungle Meets the Pacific

The ocean is twenty minutes away. It feels like another world.

Below the mountain, the Costa Ballena coastline stretches along one of the most unspoiled stretches of Pacific coast in all of Central America. Whale watching, sport fishing, snorkeling above coral formations — the water here holds as much life as the jungle above it.

The Pacific puts on a show.

Seasonal availability. Best between July and November, and December through April.

The Pacific puts on a show.

The waters off the Osa Peninsula are among the most active humpback whale corridors on Earth. Board a private boat with an expert naturalist guide and spend the morning at sea — watching, and witnessing something that no amount of planning can fully prepare you for.

Deep water. Open horizon.

Full-day and half-day charters available. All equipment provided.

Deep water. Open horizon.

The Pacific off the Osa is legendary among sport fishing circles for good reason. Marlin, mahi-mahi, roosterfish, tuna — the waters here are extraordinarily rich. Head out at dawn with a local captain who has spent years reading these currents.

Beneath the surface.

Equipment provided. Suitable for all levels.

Beneath the surface.

The coral reefs and rocky outcroppings of the Costa Ballena shelter an extraordinary diversity of marine life — sea turtles, moray eels, rays, and hundreds of reef fish species. Slip below the surface and into a silence that matches anything the jungle has to offer.

Costa Rica isn't a backdrop. It's the point.

The Osa Peninsula has its own rhythm, its own flavors, its own way of measuring time. We believe the best luxury travel is travel that puts you in genuine contact with the place you've come to — not behind a glass window looking in, but alongside the people and traditions that make it real.

Where your chef shops.

Available on private chef booking days.

Join your private chef on a morning visit to the local farmers' market or a nearby organic farm — the same places where your evening meal begins. Meet the growers, taste the produce, and understand exactly why food tastes different here.

A truly wild place.

Full-day excursion. Advanced booking required. Park entry fees apply.

Corcovado National Park — described by National Geographic as "the most biologically intense place on Earth" — sits within reach of the Arborea collective. A full-day guided excursion into the park is something that changes the way you think about wilderness.

A truly wild place.

The day ends slowly here.

Private and shared formats available.

Board a private boat as the afternoon softens and let the Pacific do the rest. Dolphins are frequent companions on the evening water. The coastline looks different from the sea — wider, wilder, and lit gold by the hour.
